NARS did it again with a really exciting new product. The Velvet Lip Glides It’s like everything you could need in one and I have been quite obsessed with them since I learned abut them. Not quite a lipgloss, not quite matte, and not quite a lipstick but a combination of all three depending on HOW you much product you apply. They also come in a million different shades ranging from luscious plump reds, to vibrant purples and ballerina pinks. I’m obsessed! Here are a few looks I created using 3 of my favorite shades. I’d like to think a different lip color allows us to role play a bit and be a different girl each day!

I think these glosses go great for days you feel like doing a full face of makeup or even days you wear none at all. Stick them in your purse and carry them all!

THE LOOK
inspired by the disco era with a little replay of my own- the makeup being very gloomy and glittery, we combined a few of the pink tones creating a heavy heavy glossy look. This look also adds volume to the appearance of your lips. I love a nude-pink gloss!

NARS Velvet Lip Glides Colors used: Stripped, Unlaced and Playpen combined to make a super glossy look.

PART TWO of that look and an easy change from say dinner to nightclub, we used the purple tones without applying too much to keep the shine, but have more of a “bitten” moisturized stain kind of look.

NARS Velvet Lip Glides Color used: La Main Bleue

THE LAST LOOK and I believe this was my favorite, inspired by my upcoming trip to Tokyo I wanted to do something a little fun and bright. We kept the makeup pretty natural with hints of glitter, and I added a tear drop using the white and blue NARS eyeliner pencils. We chose the more hot pinkish purple tone for this look because it was so young and fresh. This look could be a great day to night look!

NARS Velvet Lip Glide Color used: Danceteria

What can I say I love lipglosses! You can shop all the NARS Velvet Lip Glides here at Sephora.

Special Merci to my team of amazing strong women for this shoot!
